My Story

Get to Know Me

In my younger days I was always interested in Real Estate and, when I became a first time homeowner, I considered it as a possible career path. I secured my real estate license in Eugene, Ore., in 1977. I remember back in the day the real estate contract was only two pages!!! I moved to California in 1980 and entered the world of finance and started my own mortgage banking company in 1984, while keeping my real estate license active. During my time in California, I received training and became an active institutional bond trader. It was a great education in learning about the flow of money and how it relates to lending and real estate. I moved to Colorado Springs in 1992 and have been here ever since. I don’t consider myself “just” a realtor, but a consultant, advisor, educator, sounding board, information provider, negotiator and protector. I don’t just focus on homes; I focus on people and THEIR best interests.
